Exercising

How do you guys do it? What routines do you have? Currently I do... nothing. I need to exercise!

I want to join the local gym but without a job, I can't afford it. And besides, if I'm going back to uni in two months (... if) then what's the point of paying a membership fee to have to cancel it soon?

I need to get some running trainers soon.

  1. If you don't have running trainers just go for long walks, or dance in your living room.
    Keep moving at every opportunity.
Borrow a bike and explore the countryside.
Vow never to use the bus.
Exercise is easy when you put your mind to it, and it does great things for your mood.
    Get those endorphins flowing! xx

  2. Walking - maybe add in a few short sprints or jog. Do sit-up/crunches, planks, push-ups, lunges, squats, jumping jacks, ect. Put on some music and dance. Jump around. Exercise videos online. Or get videos from a library. Just start small. Like do a 10 minute walk and 10 crunches, 10 squats, 10 jumping jacks, and see if you can do 5 push-ups. I can't do even 1 push-up, so don't feel bad if you can't do certain things. You just have to keep working at it. Stay strong.

  3. I'm the same way. I feel like I need someone to tell me what to do. But regardless, if you have a university pass then you should be able to get into that gym for free. or you should call your uni and ask if there are any "sister" schools in your area. i know there's a community college right by my parents house, and then I found out that the CC and my uni were sister schools, so I can workout at both schools! super awesome!

  4. It does not necessarily matter what you do, as long as you keep yourself moving!
Try out a bunch of different things until you find something you really love and can stick with.
I like going on walks, swimming, and calisthenic-type exercises.
    Stay positive, stay beautiful! <3

  5. Somedays I just put on the ipod and go walking away from my house and before I know it I've walked an hour. Youtube and other sites have good workout videos you can try

  6. You can find free workout videos on Hulu.com and even some short ones on YouTube. I also use SparkPeople.com and it tells me what strength training exercises I can do in my house.

I also go on walks/jogs. But not when it's really effing hot out like it is right now. lol
